Prayer for Pastor Dennis

Dennis and Linda consider themselves very blessed to have been part of the CCK leadership team with Pastor Norm and Marcy since 1991. Dennis serves as an elder and functions as the Executive Pastor. Together with Linda, they teach pre-marriage classes and perform marriage counseling to couples in the church. In addition, Dennis teaches Ethics to 11th graders and coaches varsity basketball at Christ Church Academy.

 Dennis and Linda have been happily married for forty years. They have two adult children who have given them nine delightful grandchildren.

A few months ago, Pastor Dennis was diagnosed with multiple myeloma (a severe cancer of the bone). This cancer weakens him intensely and affects every aspect of your body. Here are a few prayer points directly from Pastor Dennis that you and your family can be praying for. We will update this page weekly as new requests are made.

Please pray in faith for these specific issues:

·        He would be kept from infections, neuropathy, colds
·        His bone marrow begins to produce positively
·        His blood platelets count increases
·        Cancer cells would die
·        His kidneys and liver would continue to stay healthy
·        His bones stay strong and do not deteriorate
·        His blood counts keep going up
·        Treatments are effective
·        That as a family they would not shrink down to cancer
·        That their minds are kept alive to God and renewed daily in the battle
·        They would walk in Courage and Faith, no fear
·        Linda continues to move in an anointing and refreshing as his dear caregiver
·        Pray that Pastor Dennis doesn’t lose anymore weight
·        Pray for finances.  All Pastor Dennis’ treatments are covered by the Dennis Trout Health Fund ($1000 a week for treatment and $5500 a quarter for a special shot)
